Mahesh Babu's latest offing One Nenokkadine, which released widely on Friday, opened to mixed reviews. Unanimously critics lamented that the film is draggy, stretched. Even strong word of mouth doing rounds is that the film is testing their patience at few portions.
Quickly reacting to it, producers trio of One Nenokkadine- Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta- have started damage control steps. They decided to cut short the film. The film is going to be trimmed by 20 minutes and this new version will be screened in theatres from Saturday.
Anil Sunkara posted on his micro-blogging page, "Based on first response upto 20 minutes is trimmed and new version will be there from tomorrow."
Taking on criticism, Sunkara set the record straight, "14 reels cast and crew will always be proud of '1'. It may not be a regular masala feature. But v are proud of making a new dimension movie."
