Especially, he is getting more recognition down south after the success of Singham, which featured him as a corrupt cop DSP Patkar. The actor will now be seen in the upcoming film Yevadu, wherein he plays an investigating cop who is trailing Ram Charan Teja.
The actor, who has won a Nandi award for his first Telugu film Atithi, is very excited about this one. In a statement to Oneindia, Murli Sharma expressed his excitement over the movie Yevadu, which is scheduled to release in theatres across globe on January 12.
He said, "I am super excited because of the script. It's a superb narrative and I have a great role in it too. For a change, I am not the bad cop, but an honest one." Murli Sharma is also looking forward to his Bollywood projects like Atul Agnihotri's O Teri. Param Gill's untitled being produced by Remo Dsuza, Anand Kumar's, Desi Kattey among others.
