Rajamouli’s highest budget film Bahubali starring Prabhas, Anushka and Rana lands in a legal dispute.Jain Sode Matha a resident from Karkala, Karnataka has issues legal notice to makers of “Baahubali” to change the title for the violent film.
According to him, “Bahubali” is name of Jain monk who symbolizes peace and Rajamouli using great monk name for a violent film which contains brutal wars, songs, etc. Based on Jain history, Bahubali and Bharat both are brother’s hails from Kings Family and at some extent both brothers fought for kingdom where Bahubali defeats his brother.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli and his team are holding discussions with the JainMath authorities and are trying to explain them the exact meaning of Bahu- Shoulder and Bali – Strength and also the reasons behind fixing the title for the film.So, we need to wait and see how our Bahubali makers and director Rajamouli will response on this legal notice.
