It is disheartening to see several stars in Tollywood not turning up to pay homage for Uday Kiran for one last time. Except for Venkatesh, Sunil, Sudhir Babu and Srikanth, no prominent star turned up to pay their final respects to the departed soul.
However, Lakshmi Manchu seem to have taken the initiative to address the main problem ‘Depression’ behind Uday Kiran’s suicide.
She along with director Madhura Sreedhar and Muse Art Gallery founder Sudheer are planning to start Uday Kiran Foundation.
It is a non-profit and helps actors and film fraternity fight depression. They will be meeting film industry biggies and will be announcing a detailed action plan to take up this foundation forward.
