Sreeram Chandra's ad with Salman Khan

Hyderabad boy and Indian Idol winner Sreeram Chandra shares the frame with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the new commercial for Suzuki.

While it has been on air since August, Sreeram was noticed only recently. He explains, "The first edit had cut my part very short. But in the recently released edit, I can be seen clearly."

How did Sreeram bag the ad? The singer, who recently made his acting debut in the Telugu film 'Jagadguru Adi Shankara', says, "I was initially roped in to sing the jingle, which didn't work out.

Later, the marketing head of Suzuki approached me.

"I had a short conversation with Salman Khan, as he was busy with the shoot. I clicked pictures with him and also the ad director Rohan Sippy," he recalls fondly.
